I’m Philippe “GOTTA” Arcostanzo, founder and music director of Events by GOTTA. My journey began at the piano at age six, moving through classical and jazz before discovering DJ culture and music production. Over time, music became more than sound. It became a language. A way to read energy and shape atmosphere.
For more than twenty years, I’ve curated musical experiences across the French Riviera and beyond, from Monaco galas and Cannes brand activations to Saint-Tropez yacht parties and destination weddings. I also spent seven formative years living and creating in New York City, refining my approach to music as storytelling.
Along the way, I collaborated with planners, agencies, and luxury brands, often behind the scenes, ensuring every moment felt intentional. But I kept noticing the same thing: music was treated as a service, when it should have been direction.
Because music doesn’t simply fill a space. It defines it. The right transition can turn a dinner into a celebration. The right tempo can move an entire room.
That realization became Events by GOTTA.
Today, I lead a curated collective of elite musicians crafting bespoke soundtracks for luxury weddings, yacht events, and high-end corporate experiences.
